Oscars 2025: here are the nominees for the Academy Awards; full list
The Oscars are brat! Well, just a little bit, since Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang were responsible for announcing the nominees for the 2025 Oscars, the highest award in Hollywood cinema (and related fields).
This year, the nominations were slightly delayed due to the devastating effects of the fires in Los Angeles; the nominees were originally scheduled to be announced on January 12th.

The ceremony to award the statuettes will take place on March 2, and will be broadcast live in the United States by ABC and Hulu streaming service. Check your local TV and streaming services for your programming options.
This year, the awards will be hosted by Conan O’Brien, famous talk show host and podcaster, renowned by his sharp and extremely inteligente sense of humour.
It is also worth remembering that this is the second year that the Oscar quota system, implemented in 2024, is in effect, aiming to increase the representation of minority groups among the nominees in different categories. Learn more about how it works here.
